Indina Menzel Show

Had free tix and backstage passes last night for Idina Menzel at the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion courtesy of bass player Sean Hurley!  Was a terrific show - Idina was in great voice and the band was killing too.  Hung out afterwards talking with Sean and then had a quick opportunity to meet Idina who was beautiful, gracious, and in real life was tiny compared to her stage persona.  Lovely evening of good music.

Ross Valory meet and greet

Friend Dan Newsom invited us to the Journey/Steve Miller/Tower of Power show!  Dan's cousin is Ross Valory, Bass player for Journey - had the thrill of meeting him backstage and having our photo taken.

Back stage with Cassadee Pope

Got to meet Cassadee Pope last night via our good friend and guitarist extraordinare Steve Fekete who's in her touring band!  Cassadee played a great opening set at Gilette stadium.  So proud of Steve!

Berklee Graduation concert

Attended the Berklee reception for the honorary doctorates pre-graduation concert.  The concert was was rockin' and the graduates did a great job this year.  The band was also terrific as were the arrangements (great job Ken Zambello!).  Got to see Jimmy Page and Valerie Simpson close up - was a wonderful night.

Vertical Horizon & Goo Goo Dolls

Traveled up to Gilford, NH to see good friend Steve Fekete playing and singing with Vertical Horizon. Got to hang out back stage, reconnect with Steve, and meet the guys in the band - all of whom are very cool! Was able to take pictures, get autographs and got a photo with John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls. Very enjoyable show, and a fun evening!

On our way

Berklee alum Mike Stavitz (drums) and Berklee faculty members Jeff Perry (www.jeff-perry.com) and Scott DeOgburn (http://www.zogmusic.com/biography.htm) were in the studio recently - got all the drum and bass parts done and Scott laid down some cool piano tracks ! Have 1/2 the acoustic guitar parts done and we'll finish the rest by early Feb. Berklee alum Steve Fekete (http://www.stevefekete.com) is working on electric guitar tracks and things are definitely moving along - hope to throw some new rough samples up on the site in the next month or two - as always, stay tuned!!

Jamie Cullum

Went to see Jamie Cullum at the Opera House Thursday night - terrific show - if you can get out to see him it's well worth the ticket price. And, thanks to Sebastian De Krom, Jamie's drummer, we were able to go backstage and meet Jamie and the rest of the band. Very, very fun, impressive, and inspiring musical evening!
